Please read this carefully. ShotsIQ is a personal tracking and education tool. It provides model-based estimates, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or measured blood levels. By using the App you agree to the terms below.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Jack Vande Walle ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the ShotsIQ application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the App. The App is intended for adults managing their own personal tracking and is not directed to children.
The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Estimated amounts are produced by a pharmacokinetic model using general published values and the data you enter; they are approximations for personal tracking and education only and may differ from your actual physiology. Nothing in the App should be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, or to make dosing decisions. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional regarding any medication, dose, or health concern. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in the App. You use the App and its outputs at your own risk.
You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, interfere with, or disrupt it, or by using it in any unlawful manner or in violation of any third party's rights.
Certain features require an auto-renewable subscription ("ShotsIQ Pro") sold through the Apple App Store. Pricing is shown in the App at purchase (for example, $4.99/month or $29.99/year), and a free trial may be offered. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; a free trial that is not cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends converts to a paid subscription. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions. Purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms; we do not process payments.
The App, including its name, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal use, subject to these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Your entries are stored on your device. How information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its estimates will be accurate for your situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or its estimates. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
